Monday Night Raw - 8/15/11 - Fall out from SummerSlam

To Start off the night in San Diego, Triple H comes down to the ring. He admits he made a bad call in the match between John Cena and CM Punk, however it really doesn't matter due to who ever had won, Del Rio would have still cashed in.

Kevin Nash had asked for skybox tickets and The Game provided them, but The Cerebral Assassin denied any involvement in what transpired after the SummerSlam main event. Big Daddy Cool would appear later on Raw to speak for himself.

The next person to come out was the NEW WWE CHAMPION, Alberto Del Rio!



He Reall worked the crowd over, as a the fans really love Rey Mysterio there. (It's his hometown)

This was a good yet over long Segement i thought. The Mexican Aristocrat vowed to deliver a crushing defeat to San Diego’s own Rey Mysterio later in the night, preventing The Master of the 619 from bringing the prestigious title home to San Diego.

First Match of the night

John Morrison Vs R-Truth - Falls Count Anywhere

I thought this was a very good match and both did awesome. I honestly dont want their rivalary to end soon cause they are just getting started in my opinion.

Winner: John Morrison



Match 2: Diva's Champion Kelly Kelly and Eve Vs The Bella Twins

This wasnt a great match however Kelly is on a winning streak. Really wasnt a whole lot to talk about on this besides the end where The Divas of Doom came out to Congradulate the winners

CM Punk and Kevin Nash Segment

This was a great segment because both guys can talk and really rev up a crowd. Of course Punk was on top of his game and to Kevin's Credit, he hasnt really been in front of a crowd  like that in a long time. Do u think Triple H really texted Nash? Do u think HHH was really for Punk? Who do u think really texted Nash if HHH Didnt?

Match 3: Alex Riley Vs Jack Swagger

This was a decent little match, and Jack really needed this win. Alex Really doesnt but being new doesnt mean u always have to win either. Swagger is a beast in the ring and he showed it on raw.

Winner: Jack Swagger

Match 4: Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne Vs David Otuna and Michael McGillicutty

They might not be experienced as tag team partners, but the high-flying Team of Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne Worked.

With Trouble in Paradise, Bourne nailed the prone WWE Tag Team Champion with his patented Shooting Star Press to pick up the win.

Winner: Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne




Match 5: WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio Vs Rey Mysterio

Awesome Match!!!!

Three weeks after winning – and losing – the WWE Championship in a single night on Raw, Rey Mysterio wanted nothing more than to reclaim the illustrious prize in the heart of the San Diego. After nailing Del Rio in the face with his 619, it seemed as though The Ultimate Underdog would begin his second WWE Title reign in his hometown, live on Raw. However, as Mysterio soared through the air to further punish Del Rio with a diving splash, the defending champion countered by getting his knees up.



Winner: Still WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio


After the match though, Del Rio continues to beat on Rey, so John Cena runs to the ring to help Rey.



After Cena helped Rey, Del Rio got out of dodge, Cena grabbed the Mic.


The Last thing Cena said before Raw went off is was

“You are not a champion,” -  “You’re a target.”
