Monday Night Raw - 8/8/11 - One Week before SummerSlam

First of all, i am so sorry that this is two days late. I had trouble on the Blog right before this so hopefull you go and check that out. I did update it and it should be all good now. Thanks for reading as always!


To start off the Night, Triple H (COO) comes down to the ring. He officially announces himself as the Speical Ref during the CM Punk Vs John Cena match at SummerSlam.




He then announces the first match on Raw tonight.

John Cena Vs Jack Swagger

This match wasn't to bad but it could have been better. All this match was is to give Cena momentum going into SummerSlam.

Winner: John Cena




Second Match of the Night:

Miz Vs Rey Mysterio

As Rey comes out to the ring, Miz attacks Rey so he is unable to compete. Miz then says he should become Winner By Forfeit. Triple H announced threw Justin (The Ring Announcer) that he has a new opponent for Miz.

Miz Vs Kofi Kingston

This was a nice back and forth match. With both men getting plenty of offence, which is unusual for a Raw. So great to see that happening. The end came when Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Kofi for the Win

Winner: Miz

 

The 3rd Match:

 

Alberto Del Rio Vs CM Punk

 

I thought they could have held out on this one until a PPV cause these two had never faught 1 on 1 before. It could have led into something huge i thought. However, this match was pretty good. They could do much better ,but for a Raw match. Well done

 

Winner: CM Punk

 

 

4th Match:

Beth Phoenix vs Eve

 

This wasnt much of a match, just to show the power from Beth. So excited where this leads Beth and Natalya.

 

Winner: Beth Phoenix

 

 

Match 5:

 

Alex Riley (A-Ry) Defeats US Champion Dolph Ziggler

 

This wasnt much of a match, it was mostly based around Vickie Guerrero. At the end Vickie leaves Dolph due to him loosing.

 

Winner: A-Ry

 

 

Match 6:

 

R-Truth Vs John Morrison

 

This showed some mad skills from Morrison. The end came when Morrison hit his neck on the barracade. Decent match, but needed more time.

 

Winner: R-Truth

 

*Side Note* Since Morrison came back from his injury, he has lost every match

 

 

WWE Unification Match at SummerSlam- Contract Signing.

 

 

This segment was so awesome, i cant even put it into words. So what i am gonna do is post a video. This video will explain all.
